Vito alloy load rating

Looking to fit some 18" alloys to my vito.
I know I need to be careful on the load rating of the wheels I buy, going on what I believe is right (half the axle weight on my VIN plate) I need 730kg. I've found a number of wheels and they're all 690kg.
I'm guessing the extra 40 kg will make the difference. Plus will bring it up to legal regs??
Cheers

Also can anyone tell me the correct size I should be running for an 18", et, width etc.
I've read ET50 225 max. Is this correct?
Thanks

Yup they have to be rated for the maximum gross weight.

What sort of Vito is this? You can get some idea of sizes here: Mercedes-Benz Fitting Chart and Wheel Fitment Guide | Alloy Wheels Direct

Make sure your insurance is OK with changing the wheels - some companies won't cover you any more if you do (regardless of load ratings etc.).

if your running 8.5 inch wide wheel ,tyre 235 /45 probably minimum et50 will sit flush ..
l run 9 inch ( et 52 ) ml 55 wheels with a 245/45 minimum tyre and sits flush with the front and rear guard (lowered all round)

Thank you for the info,
The vito us an 09, LWB, 109,being used as a work van/race van (joiner/mx)
Insurance company are fine with it, will be updating them as modifications are carried out.
Would prefer to fit genuine 18 mercedes, speaking to people who are selling merc wheels it seems the load rating on a fair few are higher than most. But will be certain to check before I buy.

Cheers for the info. Hopefully seeing a few genuine mercedes wheels this week, I'll see how they look

I think you'd also ideally want to lower the suspension a bit as Sherco mentioned since IMO the fairly high normal stance would look a bit odd with bigger wheels.
