Vito W639 glovebox headache 🤬🤬

Hi all, recently bought myself a 2009 Vito and I can’t get in the dam glove box … guy who I bought it off was open enough and said he hasn’t been able to get in it for ages and has no idea what’s in it
Anyway any help/advice greatly received .. it’s one with a lock by the way which turns fine with they key but just will not open.

Yeah, hammer, screwdriver and then bought a new one from motor hog
