We have a 2005 (W639) Vito 111 CDi. Shortly after purchasing this, in October, the display suggested it was overdue a service, despite having had a service in April and done less than 10k in that time. Despite that, I had a 1-spanner service carried out. After the service it now showed approx. 11500 (from memory) until the next service was due.
Last night I noticed that it was now showing -720 days against a 2-spanner service i.e. 2 years overdue, yet the service was at the end of October and the vehicle has done around 1200 miles. I can't say when the indicator first appeared as the other half normally drives the Vito, but it certainly wasn't there 4 days ago when I last drove it.
I suspect that this has no relevance, but we had to jump start it last night.
Anyone seen an issue like this and, if so, what the cause might be? Knowing it has recently had a service, can I just reset the service indicator?
