didnt change a thing. i always carry a heavy load so it looks lower than the average vito. and as the wheels/tyres are slightly bigger they fill the arches better. i think the ride is better, but having just taken a chunk out of a tyre and rim by hitting a curb, ive now got to get them refurbed. only downside with big rims on work vans.
Do you need special van wheels , being that vans generally have a higher payload capacity than cars ?
If you put 'car' wheels on a van , would they be strong enough and not start to crack / bend , even more so with the ultra low profile tyres you will need to put on ?
Undoubtedly the Brabus ones are up to the job because they are designed for the van conversion , but i'd be wary of putting aftermarket wheels on that are constructed with cars in mind ( ie. max of 4 people and a bit of luggage , not a van full of tools / cement etc )
Have you got those wheels declared on your insurance? If so, how much did it affect the premium?
The insurance on our Vito is up for renewal in a couple of weeks and I was going to ask then what effect non-standard wheels would have. We are with CIS at the moment.
I would like to put AMG IIs on ... probably stick with 17" though as the tyre size is the same as the factory 17" 6-spokes we have currently.
