VW Golf v C-Class TV ad

The new night driving VW Golf TV ad is brilliant. I'd love that to have been the the new C-Class ad. The voice, music, words...all great.
The new C-Class ad is a bit cheap in comparison. Not a premium piece. Could quite easily be from Vauxhall?

I love it too. Subtle, extremely well produced, shows off the product well and stands as a good piece of prose in its own right.

I'm obviously not in the target audience as it leaves me cold. I think 'sad git - nothing better to do than drive for no reason'.

Conversely the A5 rhythm of lines add hit the spot with me. Though I'm not likely to aspire to one.

I share your view. Leaves me cold too. And the Golf looks ugly with the great gaping mouth at the front like an Audi.
