Hi guys I have been trying to restore my MB but am now stuck.

I have a w114 and am desperately looking for an interior, can anyone help? Or know of a breakers yard that might be likely to have w114 stock?

Worst case just one front seat for a coupe would do as I need the diaphragm underneath to fix my central locking.

I have a couple of other tiny things like the metal ring that is around the key ignition and a fake plastic Chrome ring from around one of the heaters on the dash.

Any help or advice would be great appreciated!

Hi l cant find the link on ebay. it comes up occasionally from Turkey w114/115 interior parts. l know this doesn't help sometimes they come up complete and running w114 here in Australia going for $500 bucks.

There is a place in Germany advertising new ones on Ebay, no connection or experience though

Hi,
I have a 1972, W114 Coupe and a shed full of redundant bits and pieces including 2 x front seats in mid tan MB tex and the other bits and pieces that you may need including bits of trim, engine ancillaries, heater, dash, instruments.
Give me a call or email and I will forward a list of bits:

I've just bought two loads from Colin (Jackasti) above for the restoration of my coupe and, apart from being really helpful, pleasant and reasonable, he has all the stuff you are looking for. His front seats are in excellent condition (I have the rear seat).

Apart from a couple of bits and pieces, rear seat that Colin sold me, he has an entire very good condition brown interior - if necessary I'll happily swap some stuff if you need the full set.

my friend lights and the like for w114 if anybody looking to keep as spares for future use

does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced person to take on restoration of my 1975 w114 280ce? I love it but am struggling to fine anyone to restore it- a UK car with all the rust but mechanically sound
any help gratefully received!

I am restoring my W114 coupe at present, although I was lucky that the previous owner did most of the important bodywork (and gave me the car).

First point is that the car is pretty simple - any competent welder should be able to deal with the rust using repair panels as required. I know of some exceptionally good, but expensive restorers in the London area (where are you) and some cheaper ones in the Oxfordshire area, but they are all quite busy at present. I am doing as much work as I can do, and only involving mechanics and body shops for that which is required. It won't be cheap to do and the car will end up worth less than the cost. Do you have all the trim as that is very expensive to source?

Here's my project thread if it helps
