W123 230E Service Parts

Given that it's not been done for a while, I have the urge to give my 230E a good service. However some simple parts seem to be a little difficult to get hold of - Euro Car parts have some but not all.

I need:

Spark Plugs (Bosch?) (ECP)
Leads (ECP)
Distributor cap
Rotor arm

Anyone know where these can be sourced from as I don't fancy paying main dealer prices!

Dont knock the dealer till you try them, the Genuine oil filters are around £6.13 most dealers would be happy to give you some discount off this too! The genuine plugs are about 2.25 each... caps and arms and leads you would have to to check with your vin number, but its well worth a quick call i think.

Euros will be able to get those for sure, If someone there has said they cant then just ring and speak to someone else!

Otherwise try GSF.

The onlin e element of ECP is pretty basic but they stock a lot more than they say online.

The only problem I have with ECP dizzy caps is that they're pretty badly made looking things. Deffo not OEM quality. When I ran a 230 I got caps and rotors from an independant factor and insisted they get Bosch.

for my 230 i got mine at halfords and my garage got me the dizzy cap and arm

Beru is one to go for too.

Ask for beru from euro car parts, dont get the cheap italian stuff.

Having a trade card for Halfrauds means that I get Bosch/Champion/NGK etc at trade prices and normally always off the shelf too.
