W123 230E valve clearance

Hi. I am new to the world of mercedes and have fallen in love with logical way these vehicles work and are put together.
However I cannot find a book/ manual on my car. I need to adjust the valves but I don't have the gap info. Can someone provide me with the valve clearance for the 1984 230e w123?

That's brilliant, however I don't have a diesel . I have the 4cyl petrol injection engine. Are the values similar?

Inlet 0.15mm and Exhaust 0.300mm

Must be stone cold when carrying out adjustment.

Oh yeah, engine sounds much better. Still a bit noisy on start up.
Any ideas why? It's like the old push rod and leaking hydrolic lifter noise. A rattle until oil pressure builds and all goes quiet.

Possibly noise from the timing chain?

Maybe the tensioner is failing or chain stretched?
