Hello from Bulgaria! I recently bought a Mercedes E250D Turbo. The car is almost perfect, there are several minor things that should be repaired. My central locking pump wasn't working, somebody has washed it, so we found out that a relay is failed. The relay is Siemens v23133 a1001c133 , but when I call Mercedes dealer in Bulgaria, they want a Merecedes number - starting with an "A" and 10 digits after it (Axxxxxxxxxx). Looked in a russian site mentioned in the forum, but no information about this at all. Could anyone tell what is the number fot that relay? Thank you.

Thanks, I'll check the TYCO relay. About the bulgarian forum - this thread was posted by me today and I'll probably try the PKMK 1-12 first and share the result - it's price here is between 0.2 and 1.5 euro.

Is the relay actually part of the central locking vacumm pump itself? I'm confused.

Yes, the relay is a part of the pump. However I'm kind of do-it-yourselver and think that if I can repair the pump for 0.25 euro - it's better than purchasing a new one.

As i promised, I'm posting the results. We've fixed electronics using new russian PKMK 1-12 relays (РКМК 1-12) and tested the pump. We were not so good at mechanics and thought tha the pump has not enough rate of air delivery because it worked around 20 seconds to lock only doors and didn't lock the trunk and the petrol tank. We decided to "fix" the mechanics and broke it :D We bought used pump from W201, they are quite different, but replacable at all. When the "new" pump didn't lock the car we started to think there was a cracked hose. We detached the hoses one by one and tested if the pump locks/unlocks them. The trunk was OK, but the petrol tank door didn't lock. It turned out that the hose was pulled out. Good luck all and thanks again! :)

The pump running on is normal for an air leak, I wish you'd said earlier.
Anyway, it's all sorted now.
