W124 E280 loses power on hills

Thanks all, now I've got something to start looking for now.

I notice a comment about 2 fuel pumps if it's an estate. It is, is this a possible problem?

Hopefully gearbox is sorted now after changing overload protection switch which out of interest is not vacuum operated. Switch was weaping slightly and contaminated with oil.
