Well I got my w124 on the road, and serviced and done about 1000 miles in it.
Overall its a great little car but I have a couple of questions
1 - the exhaust has been replaced with a fancy stainless steel thing, would look and sound great on a nice petrol car but not a diesel barge!! It appears they have taken the cat away but what else they have changed I am not sure.
Does anyone have a photo of what the exhaust should look like so I can try and get some parts to put back a nice quiet exhaust.
2- I am getting a fuel leak from the fuel lines in in the engine bay. I know that some people do not refit OE lines and instead fit a silicon poduct? any one got a suggestion for the best lines.
i shall wait for a sunny day and get some photos of the bottom of the car to post up.
