W124 E36 AMG Cabriolet... Azurite/Mushroom

Oh my god where did this come out from!

Steep price. or is it?

£18k and they can't be bothered to re gas the AC? would make me suspicious, and not just of the AC. The car could well be worth the asking price, but it would need to prepared properly and presented properly.

Although mileage is nothing for that price considering how rare it is i'd want the clock to have a lower reading.

It sure is a alot of moolah...

If a minter than mint 'normal' E320 Cabriolet came on the market with similar miles or higher at the same price, I would be inclined to say the mileage is an issue at that price and for one to hang on for a lower mileage one... But this being as rare as it is, I honestly dont know...

Prices of £9K , £10k, £11K are surely too conservative, so maybe somewhere between that upper figure and the asking price??

If someone buys it, it'll be worth what they pay.

A friend of mine recently inherited a house from his Grandmother who passed away (along with a large sum of money).

Two local agents valued it, the first at 190K, the second at £215K.

As they were in no rush to sell and it was vacant they decided to put it on at £250K expecting offers. The first couple that looked 4 days later offered £250K and bought it straight away.

So what was it "worth"?

I know what i'd do to it if it came my way..

Ive got the kit sitting in the garage...twin leccy memory seats with electric reach column.

Thats it.

Very rare indeed, but as said before, if I was spending that sort of money on a car I would expect it to be perfect and the next bill should be for the road tax in a years time.

Check out his other items for sale, some cool stuff.

I wonder how many of those 14 are left? I know one got burnt to a crisp and wasn't rebuilt. Wouldnt surprise me if there are much fewer than 14 still around. Certainly a collectors car.

Silverarrows still have a stunning low mileage silver one for sale. Its been for sale for ages so its probably too much money. I seem to remember Avantgarde had one recently and another in the MB club gazette. That makes 4 out of the 14 that have been for sale in the last few months.

I could do with the steering wheel
and the drivers seat
and the wheels
and the engine
and the body kit
and the suspension

didn't realise the cab boot was so small, wouldn't do for us, SWMBO likes to take the kitchen sink with her when we go away.

they say "AMG opted for the proven 4-speed auto instead of the standard ‘electronically regulated’ 5-speed."

5 speed is standard! no its not, of my 5 1994/5s 1 was

The Silverarrows car is £34950! Makes this one seem a bargain.

bet the a/c needs more than a regas.

Imagine a hardtop on that... That would finish it (for the winter anyway!).
