I just wish I didn't like so many cars at the moment! So tempted by one of these ... But just can't fit it in to my life sadly.

The more you look, the more you like.
I fancy, in no particular order:
R129
R107
Sec500 126

I have a huge list at the mo and don't quite have the right cars on my drive for work and pleasure.
But can't let my R129 or Range Rover go.

Decided to throw some money at both to take my mind of other cars.

Having said that if something sexy came up ......

I'm sending my old man down to view this on the weekend. I might have it to go with our other w124 estate depending on how bad it really is. If the body is straight enough i will probably have it.

For a couple of hours earlier I was determined to have a crack at it too but I just can't. No space unfortunately. I hope it goes to a good home on here ..

I think if you have sound dry storage, time enough, focus, will and cash that an amg w124 estate will give you both fun and a return in the longer run. The car is special and rare. W124 estates will go as well in the market as nice w123s except this has rarity.

And it's a very good colour for value too.

If anybody is interested I have a W124 estate that's been in storage for the last 10 years and has next to no rust on it....ideal to swap all of the E36 parts into the rust free bodyshell and hell of a lot cheaper than rebuilding a rotted out body

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

I just peeped in the window. Do you want me to Hoover it out for you?

Only joking... but you can do mine...

Haha, sorry for the confusion, I was referring to Jay's S124 AMG ;)

Nice offer of course - but for value in the longer run you need the match of chassis to engine ... Needs to be an "original car" whatever that might be.

Might just be that someone wants your E estate anyway. Try 'em out!

All the best

Does his need cleaning too? Mine needs a proper uber polish...

Another ebayer not honouring the process ... Frustrating.

Might still turn up on here?

It's the seller's property, he can do with it what he pleases.

Anyone interested in any car advertised anywhere should go to see it & make a deal happen there & then if they want to buy it.

Saves on the charges and the tyre kickers that bid just to frustrate the seller and never turn up and honour their side of the deal!
Having said that, it would save a fortune if you wanted to transplant the running gear. I should imagine it probably sold for less than a new E36 ECU!
