W124 Rear mudflaps & E500 wings.....

MUDFLAPS:
I've just bought a Carat Duchatelet bumper, and I'm not sure whether to fit rear mudflaps or not. I have genuine MB items currently on my standard rear bumper. They don't look too bad, and of course had a practicle use. Having said that, I'm 50/50 as to whether I should get them fitted to the new bumper. What is the general consensus here on the forums as to rear mudflaps?

E500 WINGS:
I'm also toying with the idea of fitting E500 front wings, and widening the rear arches to match. I bought a genuine MB standard front wing last year, costing around £170 inc. VAT. Does anyone know how much genuine E500 wings are? Also can anyone give me a rough idea of what to pay when it comes to widening the rear wings?

Any help, advice or pointers the MB Club community can give me, would be greatly received.

E500 wings are £363 each. The side slabs are also quite expensive, the side skirts are not the same either.
Rear wings expect to pay around £250 per arch to flare them, plus painting both sides.

The skirts are different, they curve out to the wheelarch.

I thought about doing this on my coupe, but in the end I decided not to. The costs are high, and there is too high a risk of ruining the lines of the car.

Will you be selling your standard rear bumper or has it been smashed in accident.

If you are selling I may be interested at right price.

Did you actually fit the new front wing or is that avaialable for sale ?

If not selling, because you have fitted it, is the old front wing available ?

I'm afraid I may not aid your search much.

My standard bumper won't be available until around March next year (as I'm waiting until after winter to get my paintwork sorted. Assuming all goes well with the fitted of the Carat Duchatelet item, I may as well sell my current bumper.

As for the front wing, I had that fitted last year, and the old one was disposed of then.

Those rear arches have been modified and IMO they dont look quite right,

Dont get me wrong, the one in the photo above is a nice looking car, it has 500e front wings too. But the rear in my opinion doesnt look quite right, it looks like the rear arches have been stuck on.. Look at the lines on my car:
