W126 SEC vs SEL Tail Lights

Hi,

Have spent now several confusing hours trying to source new rear lights for my 560 SEC.

I would prefer the clear style, but through various sites and a lot of eBay haven’t found something that states it will fit for a SEC, although there do seem to be options for a saloon.

Does anyone know if there are differences, or anything else to look out for when doing this? Yes, i know aftermarket lights will be of lower quality, but i can live with that if they fit...!

The part nos for the rear lighting units are the same for the saloon and coupe so the lenses should fit both. The rear light units come as with or without rear fog lamps but will only differ internally

Excellent, many thanks. Ordered some clear lights from the US... if they don’t fit due to fog light being on the wrong side, I figure I can always just swap the lenses over...
