Not so great to be faced with problems straight away though! I forgot to check the heated seats and guess what? They don't work!
Initially, when I would press either switch, the lights would flash for a few seconds and then turn off. Having done some research, I checked fuse no 6 under the bonnet which was not blown but looked like it had seen better days. After replacing this 20 amp fuse, I fired the switch and the lights stayed on...for a few seconds before it started flashing again! On another attempt, it went straight to the flashing. I then took the fuse out and put it in again and the same solid to flashing lights happened again.
Any ideas what may cause this and how it can be rectified?
