I think they would need amending in that in the center of the front bumper for example, there are two plastic parts that rise up either side of the grille for a W164 that aren't present on a W163. I only wish they were compatible, because I've been looking for a replacement W163 bumper with foglights and washer jets for nearly 2 years!!
