W201 Avantgarde Grille

I'm looking for an avantgarde (or S600 ) style grille for my '91 190. After searching this site and coming up with nothing I went all over tinternet and found a place called AutoBLZ in Yank land. They do the complete grille for around £50 plus p&p. Has anyone dealt with these guys before, or does anyone know of a better source for the grille?

Mercedes Performance want £123 exc VAT!

Grille

IIRC Bazza's grill is home made.

1. Paint grill gloss black
2. Glue on some more chrome strips which are about £2 from the stealership.

Yep home made, Sprayed satin black then laquered with new chrome strips, remembering to mod the bonnet pull before you close the bonnet.

Total cost £30 using all new chrome strips and still in one piece after 2 1/2 years

E-Bay versions £80-£130 and fall apart after a month because they are cut down to fit and lack strength

From more than a couple of metres away, you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference
