W2014 help with VIN data card?

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and will be posting up photos of my car very soon! I am in the process of buying my dads E class W211 off him as he is changing to a W204 Sport estate.

We are going to view one this week and I have managed to source the VIN number by entering the reg into the Mercedes Extended Warranty website.

Most VIN websites are telling me that the VIN isn't working, and the websites that do work don't give me any info on options etc.

Is anyone kind enough to see whether they can get a data card for me please?

Tried to input it here~ http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check

But couldn't get it to load, maybe because I'm on a train I don't know. It normally works straight away with the correct VIN

Hi I copied and pasted the vin directly from the Mercedes Warranty website.

Thats whats confusing me.

I tried a couple of sites, one didn't recognise the number and the second brings up the following for a C Class, (screen shot below) but no Data Card details. I suspect that there is an error, either with the REG to VIN or you may have made a mistake entering one of the digits.

P.S. The reference to 2002 Year is the year the model was first introduced, which is wrong for a W204. Should be 2008.

That number comes up as invalid on my copy of WIS.

Re-check the VIN, it's not working for me either

If it doesn't work for you I won't bother

Hi guys sorry for the delay, busy working!

We went to look at the car and it was a complete nail anyway :/

The service history was sketchy too so it seemed a bit dodgy.
