W202/210 Folding Mirror Switch

andy, there are a few variations of them, usually there is a paper label stuck to them, with a part number on it, or if not, ring your local dealer and give them your chassis number, and ask them for the part number.

Thanks Dave.

Unfortunately, it's not fitted to my W202. I'm trying to do "the folding mirror mod", and need the switch to continue.

Do you know what the differences are?

Hi,
Its item 83 in the link below, bout £20-25 IIRC, this number was gained by using my C43 AMG chassis no. if your car is a pre face lift they maybe slightly different in appearance.

Are you installing a new MB loom? or are you making one up? You can get all the connectors and crimps from MB as well. The complete loom is,nt very expensive i believe (if its still available).

Thanks Andy,

Loom was ordered a couple of weeks ago but its still in the Fatherland!

I'll order a switch as per the link and see what happens.

I've now got to find someone to cut the switch hole....

sorry andy, i thought it was the same pcb as the window, and mirror adjusting switch, same as on the 140 S class's, not a separate switch

Hi,
I had an additional hole cut in my centre console very difficult to do properly you can see it has been cut after the fact and not done at the factory, I used a router to do it which is what WIS say to use.
You are aware that you may require additional looms for each door, as the MB loom only goes as far as the door separation point
