I cleaned the engine the other day on my C220 W202 1994, sprayed some water on the engine while it was running, it started hunting, when i finished i switched the engine off, dried everything out, blew all visible connections with compressed air including the HT leads and suppressors, it restarted fine.
The next time i started it from cold it hunted and has been doing so ever since (only on cold start though), what i noticed is that when it hunts and i switch it off and start again it doesn't always hunt on the second start.
it must be something small, i know i did not disturb any connections or vacuum lines, i took special care not to.
I would appreciate any ideas
Thanks in advance
