W202 Avantgarde Grille With Mercedes Logo

I've seen a W202 Merc in my local town driving around with the Avantegarde grille with the Mercedes logo in it. Where can I get one of these in the UK? I asked the guy whose car I saw but he said it was on there when he bought it. I know they are available on E-Bay from the US but they don't do Paypal and charge the earth for postage. I was wondering if there is somewhere in the UK I can get one along with the bonnet badge for when I remove the star.

One with a star won't beat an Avantgarde grille for looks. Sometimes less is more..

Yes, I know, it was in your initial post. Think carefully before committing and do a search for pictures.

I've seen the one with the badge in the grille and personally I prefer it. The Avantegarde one without the emblem looks nice but I want to do away with the star on the bonnet. I have a shop in a local town and the bloody hooligan school kids try to rip it off and nearly damage the bonnet. I'd much prefer the one with the emblem.

If anyone can help i'd be eternally greatful.

why not get the avantguard grill and put a flat badge on?

the big badges on the grill look tacky IMHO

I just found one at SVS (Special Vehicle Services) for a whopping £158.59. It's the one i'm after as well. I can one on E-Bay for around half that but it's from Hong Kong and the dealer has 32 negatives in the last month alone. I think i'll pay the extra and get it from SVS.

I bought the same from the same seller when I had my 202. Quality is fine
