hi guys been a while been very busy working in Norway

I had a look over the c43 over Christmas I bought new front discs for her now wondering what is the best pad to use I see brembo are mentioned in a few places

Trevor, my vote goes to the popular Ferodo DS2500. Expensive compared to ATE's etc but I must say for spirited driving they are very good and holding up well even after 18K miles. Other wise I'd be very happy to fit ATE's, Mintex, Textar or Pagid, as no doubt you know choosing between those can very subjective.

Always used oem never had any problems.

thanks guys going to throw about 5k at the c43 this year I know its mad but I just have a soft spot for w202

new springs next on the list

Nothing mad about it. You'll have a cracking machine no doubt. What's the money going on, b/work, suspension overhaul, a 55 lump?

I use pagid yellows on my Gtr 34 and found them much better than the DS2500 they have replaced .When it's time to change the brakes on the AMG , Pagid yellows it will be .

Give them a go ,they will not disappoint .

DS2500s are superb IMHO!! Pagids were savage on my Performance Friction discs on a E90 M3

stuck oem's in mine , no issues.
I used to run ds3000's and then 2500's in the Porsche as it does a fair few trackdays , got fed up with the dust and squeaking , run oem Textars in it now with no problems

sorry for late reply working 12 hour days at mo

ya being stripped painting some parts replacing others trying to keep as much original as possible I was going to change colour but haven't made up my mind that would cost more .
all new springs shocks and bushes . sticking with 17 inch wheels but being refurbished
clear stock looking fog lights
custom exhaust must ring olly .
clean the interior get the white on leather cleaned .
if I get my hands on a E55 lump ill put it in but no hurry
set of good tyres
new discs and pads plus full service , engine , gearbox ...even do it has been refurbished at 100k im going too change oil and filter
diff oil change .
after that I don't think ill have much change ..........

I have been tipping away on it but work keeps getting in the way at moment

OEM or ATE for me personally both are very reasonably priced too.

i recommend street pads Porterfield R4s, your rims will not be fouled by the dreaded dust.
however these pads are only sold in US of A
I have these on my car and they are grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreit
