W202 Differential ABS Sensor

If I wanted to get the part number for this item how would I do that? A very unhelpful part salesmen told me over the phone that they cannot provide me with any part numbers, mercedes brentford of course, no surprise there!

adam it sounds like he is not interested in his job, like blackc55 says all you need is your chassis number
They get fed up with people asking for part numbers and then going shopping on the internet.

Hi,
I bought a new ABS sensor (differential one) for my C230K from Euro's, if i recall correctly it was approx 50-60% of the price of an MB gen part.
Doddle to fit as long as the old one has,nt seized in the diff casing.

I cant find it on the ECP website!! how did u get it? just ask them over the counter i suppose?

Yeah just went euros and asked for the rear sensor, i take it this is for your old bus Adam as the pt. no. should be the same as my C230K.
Just found my old sensor the original one from the factory was A 202 540 26 17, the ATE item that is fitted now and supplied from Euros is 417 22 0500.

You are an absolute Legend Andy, your help never goes unappreciated from me!!
It arrived today and my dad said it was a doddle to do... good thing that the car is on its 2nd diff, because i had to remove the sensor before which made it easier for him. It was almost impossible to remove the first time though!
