W202 electrics/indicators faulty

I have 1997 C200 Esprit Estate Auto with electrical malfunctions:-

I have either : a) No indicators, rear screen heater light showing on although heater isn't actually working, intermittent windscreen wipers not working & no hazard warning lights; or

b) occasional misfire on kickdown, or

c) windscreen wipers turn themselves on and can only turn off by turning off ignition.

a) occurs most often (like now) and only get one of a, b or c at any one time. b) is infrequent and c) has happened only twice.

Relays have been suggested as possible faults, but which one(s) ?

Fault a is most likely caused by a loose or faulty relay pack in the fuse box (it's the one in the centre as you look down on it, the shorter of the two long ones). I fixed mine by packing it with cardboard so it couldnt work loose. Not sure if its related to the faults you describe on b and c though.
