Hey guys, so I have had a search around the threads on here to see if anyone has been having the same problems as me with my heaters in my W202. It would appear mines is different from the norm though...
My heater controls (1-5) do not seem to have any affect on the fan speed, it is either on full power or off completely. I have had the control unit out and gave it a clean and even opened it up to see if there were any obvious faults on the inside but there was nothing so I gave it all a quick blow to clear any dust etc. and built it back up but the problem is still there .
I was thinking it is possibly a faulty resistor in the motor as that appears to be quite common but if I press the middle of the 1-5 control knob the fan seems to spring into life. Just wanting to see if anyone else has experienced this and could offer any advice before I start replacing parts that don't really need replacing.
Oh and sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find any threads with this problem
Thanks in advance, Alan.
