ok well i just bought a set of these off afellow member and thought i would post some pics of the fitment in case any other w202 member wants to do the same. very easy upgrade to do and took me about 25mins all in.
so first you will need these items:

to get your old ones off you just need to unscrew the 2 screws on the end of each sunvisor and the whole thing falls away.

next you need to get the other mounting points off, if you look carefuly there is a small flap you need to gently pop open to reveal the hidden screw, undo this and gently pop off the cover.

next you will need to take the centre section down, after poping off the clear plastic lenses you will see that the whole thing is actually held up by 2 small retaining clips, push these in a little and pop the whole lot out :)

as you can see from the picture below there are a lot of different empty positions depending i guess on what specs your car has, anyway the one i wanted was the second one up from the bottom on the left. 4 small holes for the black plastic plug to plug into.

now once you pop the grey covers off the new interior mirrors you will see the bits that need pushing into the small gap in between the rooflining and the roof. this bit is quite fiddly and you might have to get your fingers in there and push down on the liner a bit to get enough room so you can slip these little electrical clips into place...

now when you get these into place be careful not to disturb the small metal plate that the screw eventually screws into place and also make sure the clip goes in the right way up..!! this is probably the most fiddly bit of the whole thing, trust me the second one is easier to do after you have practiced on the first one :)

after that its just a matter of putting it all back together and hey presto :)

Told you that it was an easy mod. If I may be so bold as to suggest another upgrade that you won't look back on is to fit LED's in the light dome

Dave

yes leds sound great, do i have to have a certain type to stop the bulb warning light coming on..!!!

I bought mine via e bay & they were advertised as 'No error' & they worked fine straight away without problem

Otherwise contact 'Killerhertz on this site and he sells to members Dave

For info only exterior lights are on the bulb warning circuit.
A mod you may also want to consider is an auto dimming rear view mirror again this is just plug and play, though it was quite a rare option for a 202, 210 E class one will fit as long as you are happy with a grey one instead of black.
The 202 had a black RVM and the 210 RVMs were either grey or beige. As the option was rare finding a black auto dimming RVM is almost impossible, I do have one if you are interested, drop me a PM if interested in the mirror.
