W202 - Limited Slip Differential

Hi all

Quick question, did any W202 come with a limited slip differential as standard or optional?

Does anyone make an aftermarket LSD setup that fits in the W202 stock housing? Kleeman make one, but only for V8 and V12 engines.

Quaife do one. Its called the ATB.

Yeah, I thought they might so I called them up, apparently they only do they for the V8 models after 2003?

Worth checking the US models. Try searching a few US forums maybe.

The man from Quaife said that there atb's are to a supplied sample standard differential, so they can only say for sure what vehicles they will fit, but may fit others.

They list all of the dimensions and technical specs so I would have to check myself whether or not it would possibly fit.

I looked into them a while back. They're great if traction is an issue, and a cost effective way of extracting more power. Fitting costs can be pricey though.

If you do your homework I'd be surprised if you didn't find a match.
