I had A C280 and when I sold it it had 178,000 miles.

It was a 1998 R on original auto box and engine. Still going as far as I know.

when we sold our c250td it had 360 000 and it still ran good
no rust,no scratches, no scuff marks. head never been off.police in zim ran the original c220 petrol up to 1 million km with no side effect

Same as Gunning, my 2.3 Komp manual is still going strong at 168,000

2000/W C220CDI must be about to crack 200k (pixel rot on the dash, I really need to fix that), no receipts to indicate anything has been changed (main dealer up to 168k).

Had a C280 on an M plate, well over 200k when I changed it,no engine or gearbox work at all ( was a manual gearbox).

Well I'm not setting any record 1993 C180 Auto 123k on her now but 10k of those last year as the family workhorse. FSH though so that might help. Few minor faults and some rust but nothing that upsets the car at all. Just sailed the MOT. No advisorys at all.

Very strange indeed! You drive, your mileage increases.

Nothing embarrasing about a high(er) mileage vehicle at all.

At least it's being used!
