w203 2008 Electric folding Mirrors RETROFIT

Hi All,

I`ve had a read around the threads and have a few questions regarding retrofitting electric folding mirrors on my old mans w203.

He has a 2008 model , no electic seats, is this an issue??? Id rather not have to start replacing modules!!!!!

Also, I see there are 2 types of mirrors. Which ones are for a 2008?

Hope anyone can help me before i make an expensive mistake

Are you sure its s 2008 W203. The last of these were early 2007.

If its a W204 then the door controllers should be okay as they are. you will need the mirror mechanisms, new switch panel and some coding.

iirc the folding mirrors on W204 were only standard on Elegance and Sport, but not on SE.

Hi, definetly a w203 . it maybe a 2007 on a 08 plate....so might have got muddled up there

The main thing for me is

1 - Does my old mans w203 have full control modules as its a 2007/2008?
2 - Are the mirrors all the same fitment?

If so, all i have to do is get a switch/ loom extenders and a pair of mirrors from a breaker and wack them on!!! Is that too easy to be true.....probably!!!!

If this is so i am going to give it a go myself with my MB mate who has a star laptop!!!
