W203 avantgarde ride height

I have it listed on my FDOK from Dealer when i picked it up ref 486.. this was a dealers show car at the time, so it came straight out factory fitted. a few minor scrapes to unders side on italian roads

It does look low, never really noticed to other mb cars 15.5cm floor to centre of plastic rub stip under side

thanks for the info, I've the same option code, 486, but with 16" wheels 225/50, but the height is more than your. Your is really really low considering it's as a factory option

When the cars full on the way back the tyres are a good inch inside the wheelarch.. let me dig out a picture

Assisi is not the best place to visit with a lowered car and a stiff ride.

This remaind me my trip to Budapest with my previous W202, I've just installed H&R spring with koni yellow damper, so stiff

Ride height were lower than my actual 203, it has 33.8 front and 32 rear!, and I had some problems on ramps.
In any case your is lowered further more , it's strange to me that it's a factory fitting

That looks pretty low to me.

I'm running 18's on my W203 Elegance (with standard suspension) and the gap between the front arch and the wheel / tyre is quite embarassing

Will take some measurements to see how they compare to the others that have posted figures.

Nice looking motor you have their SEM.

The chrome tail pipes on the CDI Sports Pack look "hot". Does anyone know if the chrome tail pipes on the back box of SEM's car just "slip" on the original tips of the back box of a W203 and are available from MB Parts Dept or are they welded on?

Just 2 retainer screws to hold them on over original pipes.. if i remember rightly Flash

I had a quick flick through the members Gallery... there's only a teeny differnence that i can see in Your Flash and Tilly's

Yes it doesn't look especially low, according to the height you have posted, here is a link to an italian forum with a photoes of my previous W202, as said the height is more than your W203, but as I can see from the photo mine look lower.
