W203 Battery draining

One thing to remind you guys though is you will loose the memory function on the seat.....but that's got to be better than a dead battery or no power seat at all!

wouldn't be able to handle the car's Amperage.
Respectfully, we're not talking about cranking or running here, jus trying to locate an earth leak.
Ignition off, pull a lead from the battery ad connect a DC Amps multimetre, in series, between the pulled lead and the battery terminal. You should only be seeing 100mA or so (estimate) for the clock and permy live feeds. If you're seeing more than this, put the meter on the windscreen fo you can see the display in the car, and pull and replace the fuses one by one. If you pull one that dramatically reduces the current draw, thats the one! Obviously you have three fuseboxes to check.

If you have a digital camera with a video position, turn it on and place it in the boot , shut the boot and that will tell you you if the light is staying on or not.
Just eliminates one possibility.( either that or use a small child) ((only joking))
