W203 C180 fuel filter location

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2001 w203 C180? And is it a big job to chnage?

Under the car, half way back. I didn't do mine and I wouldn't unless you know exactly what you are doing. Petrol isn't a great thing to play with or have spraying everywhere.

you will need several hose clamps on the flexible pipes to isolate the filter before changing it.

It is under a cover but can still be seenfrom the rear on the left.
