w203 C220 CDI 2001 vacuum system

In an effort to cure a persistant fault ie switching into limp mode,I am trying to find a leak in the vaccum system to headrests and headlight dipping,Iv'e checked the connection to the rear of the headlights they seem ok,what actually is the system for the headrests is it part electrical and part vacuum,what is the link from the switch to the rear and where would an obvious leak be.If I knew more how the system works then I may be able to sort it out.Iv'e looked on WIS but couldn't find any info.

I've been in all the mercedes forums and non seem to answer the problem..... I have a c250 rear headrests wont go down nor will the head light leveling system work............ think they might be linked by the same vacumm................. but try finding were................ loads of clutter under the bonet and no diagrams to be found......... I'm sure we cant be the only people with this problem............ maybe the others are not bothered in finding the fault.

Your car is a 202 I think and here are the vacuum lines

I cant give you the same info as I do not have it, this is all there is on the 203, Sadly most of the boxes are blank

Cheers for getting back......... Ive seen the russian site, but as can be seen the vacumm tube ends up under the bonnet..... do you know where it ends up?........ and is it the same supply used for the headlight adjuster?........ Think I can put stiched and car in the same sentance..... As I think that cars of this age start going wrong big time...... Ive already had the O rings changed at the top end of the fuel system..... As the diesel used to run back to the tank. So me thinks that I'm going to find perished rubbers on the end or the vacumm lines if I can find the ends I'm looking for.
 
Looks as though I need to find the front panel distibution........ It's a C250 M reg Diesel with not a lot of room under the bonnet........ Only done 12000 miles.......... Anyone wants to by it?
