Please don't shout at me! - I have been reading all the threads on updates for Command, and have ended up very confused, because of all the different versions, even for the Command APS.

While my car is beached I hope to have MB carry out updates. I know for the W211, the latest update does show eta on the front screen, which would be good. Is there a simlar update for the W203 faceleift Command.

I would be very grateful!

Kind regards

David

The updates for the W211 are not related to those for the W203.

To get ETA all you need is DVD version 6.1 or above (V6.2,v6.3,v8,v9 or V9.1).
Press MAP, press one of the soft keys on the side of the screen, press DISPLAY, press MAP select time of arrival, press BACK.

Thank you Alfie - I wish I had asked a long time ago now. Tried reading the manual but my eyes seem to go cross eyed after 2 minutes!

Thanks for that - didn't know it was possible!

However the steps are slightly different (I have W203 with V6.3 DVD) - pressing VIEW brings up the map orientation.
This works:
Press MAP,
press any of the soft keys on the side of the screen,
press DISPLAY,
press MAP *soft key*
select time of arrival,
press BACK.
