w203 front springs

its me again, got car back today new front springs fitted, full mot. thing is im not happy with how the top suspension leg cap (washer) loks like large washer thats has been folded on two sides has been fitted back. how i recall it laid flat against the rubber washer underneath, but looking now its sitting proud of this and seems as if its 45 degrees out of line to what it was. im a bit concerned about this , wondering if its safe. just dosent look right to me. any info would be very much appreciated. thanks.

Sorry I'm having problems picturing what you mean from your description and it would help if you posted a photo of it.

However, in the meantime I have taken photos of mine as a comparison for you. The 1st is taken from standing in front of the car, 2nd is from the side and the 3rd is again from the front but from a lower angle. Note the gap between the top bracket and the lower part.

thanks for the reply and pic's took car back today (day off great spent at garage) yes they had been put back wrong. removed and put back in right position., cutouts on wings underneath. torqued up all good.thanks again for the photo's i didnt realise there was a gap, least seing your pic's i now know its 100%.it has stopped the banging when going over potholes, bit worrying !
