Hi,

I've got a 2002 2.3 Kompressor and I'm unable to turn the heating off completely - there's always warm air coming through the vents.

As you can imagine it would be nice to have some cool air at this time of year... :(

I've seen a vid about cleaning the dual control valve, but I cant locate it on my MB.

Can any help?

Thanks folks :thumb:

You do not have a duo valve on your model, heat control is by air blending using a system of motorised flaps.

It is a common problem whereby a flap or the motor operating it sticks. A Star diagnostic can usually tell which is causing the problem.

Depending which one is causing the problem it can be either an hour or two to fix or require the dashboard out.
