Car went into limp mode on saturday. Had to drive 130 miles at 50mph.
Couldn't find my OBD2 bluetooth ELM327 so decided to use my old wired one. Scantool no longer work and no drivers for windows 10.
Finally found the easyobdII with the reset option(https://elm327.eu/Downloads/Software/EasyObdII_2.4.0_Setup.exe) and Drivers(https://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx)

Got a P1405 error. EGR Exhast Gas Recirculation.

Luckily ECP open on sunday now so got a new thermostat as it was long overdue a change and 4 new glow plugs.
Changed the thermostat and the glow plugs are going through a soaking process with penetrating fluid.

I also took out the EGR valve and cleaned it with a cloth and blower. I had no EGR cleaner and wasn't sure if i could use break cleaner.

I have dont the reset with easyobd and drove 150 miles this morning. The car seem to drive better and on the plus side i now have heating almost instantly on like before when it took forever for engine temp to rise.

Just putting this out there in case it helps anyone.
