Hello All,

I recently bought some Bi-Xenons for my W203 Coupe, only to find I had got sedan headlights, not the required Coupe parts - A real shame as it appears that there is only one mounting that is offset by 1inch differnce between the two units.

If anyone is intrested I've listed them on ebay the auction ends Sunday - Lights are new I can post anywhere at cost.

I guess I'll have to learn to do more research before buying!, I'm going to have to get the car on a ferry and visit Steve in NL soon.

Regards,

Bret

Can you not make up a bracket to adapt it to fit ?

Hi, in your ad you state:

These lights are for the W203 *Sedan* - I had originally bought these from Germany for my W203 Coupe...

Doesn't that imply that they are for Left Hand Drive vehicles only?

UK Spec Bi-Xenons (definitely not on US LHD ones) can be switched for driving in Europe. As far as I know there are actually different part no's for UK & Australian Right Hand drive cars.

Hello, I belive these lights are German Continental Spec, I was going to adjust them for UK RHD. The part numbers are listed. I would have thought that UK spec lights would have been the same as German.... I'm seeing a LOT of LHD German cars in Canery Wharf these days...

Regards,
Bret

I don't believe they can. I believe there are three/four types, European, UK/AUS and USA. I think the adjustment on UK RHD cars is only intended for temporary overseas use but I could be wrong. Will try to find the part no of the UK units to check / compare.

MBenzNL link giving a good description on Bi-Xenons:

Now where are those part no's I had...
