Hi guys I'm looking to drop the ride height of my car.

Can you recommend the best lowering springs to go for, I don't want the ride to be much firmer then it already is so what springs will give the oem ride?

Also is it ok to just replace springs and keep the oem shocks ?

Tnx

H&R springs with standard dampers will work nicely, but only if your standard dampers are in good order.

Tnx for the replies guys.

Cheapest I can find them is £165 on fleabay.

Dude did u fit them on your c32? How do you find them? Do you get any rubbing with 5 people in the car?

I can help if you wish. I just need your reg number.

BlackC55 supplied mine and jaymanek fitted them - both did a top job.

I actually had four passengers in the car for the first time last week. No rubbing, but it was blooming low with a capital F!!

I know it's probably the same thing but for peace of mind I'm gonna go for H&R!

40mm is a big drop I hope it doesn't rub!!

Hi Guys,

Thought id jump on this one, I have a march 2004 c220 CDI with the AMG sports package i.e 330mm front disk, 17" wheels and the lower stiffer suspension, car looks great but I would like to do a mild drop on the standard dampers, when I say mild I'm talking 20 or 30mm really. Are there any spring kits that will lower a sports equipped w203 by this?? Any help much appreciated.

Greg
