Rather than hi jack 1998K's thread I am trying to obtain the part number (s) and price for the chrome tail pipes that are available for the W203 CDI Sports Pack (which fit on to the existing standard exhaust).

Below is a pic of SEM's car with the tail pipes.

Can anyone help please? Would fitting the chrome pieces mean drilling a hole into the existing tail pipes?

they pitt really easilly and discolour too. Nice while they still look new tho.

Just brush a with a bit of "wonder wheels" and you're good to go.

mine are dieseled up....I'll give wonder wheels a crack...

I wouldn't use WW. If the're not too cr*ppy now they will be after that, it's nasty stuff.

Just use a strong mix of car wash detergent then a polish up.

Thanks for that - I'll stick to washing them first and if that doesnt work resort to WW as a last resort..

Looks a bit odd drooping downwards. Can't you cut your tip off (ouch!) and weld chrome tips on facings directly backwards?

I can get you the part numbers off mine. Be warned, take a seat before reading

I was seriously thinking about purchasing that rear back box but chickened out at the last minute...:o

Polish ya bits

To clean them you can use Autosol or Peek polish. Very good stuff.

Takes a while to polish but they come up a treat.
