W203 Window regulator and motor replacement - about to get fleeced?!

Window got stuck half way down yesterday.
I took the door card off, but didn't have the time or the tools to do the job - given the weather I left the door card off and dropped it into MB Beaconsfield.
They have told me the regulator needs replacing (£280) and maybe the motor too (which is not in stock) - I suspect it does need the motor, it sounded like it striped the teeth off the gear
How much do you think I'll likely to have to pay total and will I be getting fleeced? I had no option really than to take to them given the weather and urgency of needing the car back

Why not see if they can just close the window and see if you can take it to an independant as it will be half the price of the dealer.

Personally i have never seen the motor and regulator go it is usually one or the other i have never replaced both
