I just wanted to share my experience when I was driving in heavy snow last winter in my facelift W204 C63 and also to get people's thoughts.
Although I rarely drive in the snow, last winter, I ran into heavy snow storm.
With no fog lights on the car it was almost impossible to see where I was going despite dawdling at 20 mph as the bright HID lights on the car reflected off the snow. It was almost easier to see without any lights turned on! In comparison, other cars seemingly had no issues driving in the same condition and I was left for dead by other cars, which I think was down to these cars having halogen lights and fog lights.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Whilst I prefer the look of facelift C63 without the fog lights, it is a pain and a safety issue when you are met with bad weather...
