W204 preface lift dipped beams

Philips Extreme

This is 5pm last night, dull and rainy.

You can see they are quite white compared to the standard sides.

^ They're still very yellow. I bought "blue" Phillips 501 bulbs that were supposed to be white. They were the same as yours there. I'll get a picture of mine with the Xenons on for comparison. Pure white, perfect match to the Xenons.

(also is interesting, mine's an elegance too, with those chrome fog light surrounds, but mine look a bit different) :/

(here's a pic from when I fitted them, without the xenons on but you can see the difference).

If you're on about the sidelight 501's mine are blue, from autobulbs. With the nightbreakers on at night it all looks a lovely bright white coming from the front end. I'll post a picture tonight, they weren't expensive

Hey man yeah you see those are a bit yellow still.. Ill take a pic tonight of mine and post it on here..

No chaps I meant the Philips H7 bulbs in the dipped beam made my sidelights look yellow - which is why I'm going to stick in the led ones from the link vabenzi posted.

I'll post mine tonight if I get chance to drive it long enough, they're a lot whiter than in your picture nothing (that's halogen) beats the nightbreakers. Of course they'll be yellow on startup you might find after warming up they are white but you wouldn't notice unless outside be car

Here's what mine look like at the minute.. Will take a picture when it's darker

Aye, I've been looking at mine and yep, the standard sides look bad now next to the Philips. I'm just waiting on a discount code on eurocarparts as I'm a cheapskate.;)

Hardly drive my car mate but the missus has roped me into date night tonight, so I'll take a snap later. My wedge bulbs are too blue which annoys me, they were advertised as white but they are bright blue on cold start, turning into a light blue hue after warming, but still don't match the white headlights. They'd look lovely against slightly blue halogens/HID's

Ive driven the best part of 100 miles tonight and have to admit the dip beam is crap, I'll have to look into other bulbs i think.
