Hi mate, I am interested in doing this conversion, I would have thought main dealers should stock these. Let me know how you get on, and I would be grateful for any info regarding doing this. When I bought my 2009 C Class c220 saloon I just assumed it had folding rear seats every saloon car I have ever had had this feature so I did not check the seats. It was a private sale and it was about a week after I bought the car I realised the seats did not fold down :(

Hi bud,

So completed as far as seats and door panel installed , couple of pointers if deciding to take his conversion.

Rear seats, There is video about the removal of seats, please refer to that .
M10 nuts needed x4
Mercedes plastic plug x 4 (£1.40 from MB )

Self parcel needs to be replaced, I've left just removed the seat belt from within and still using that (hopefully for the moment)

The boot plastic will need to be removed as soon as you fold the rears seats it pops out (again I've left loose until I find the parts to fold the seats, rear seat lock/lever needed )

Front seats 4 bolts plus two connections,

I got a srs malfunction error message, been told that if you remove the battery prior to removal of front seats you should not get this error message otherwise trip to star dealer like me

Few bits left but going well.
Cheers

Hi, Many thanks for the info.

Hi Mate, any chance of a couple of photos ?

I'll take some better pictures over weekend, completed the steering wheel change last weekend, hopefully weather is good for the Spoiler install this weekend, few minor things then I think I'm done.

Cheers
