W205 C250d Adblue fault

A couple of days ago my two-year old C250D sprung an orange engine management light. No loss of performance, no messages, nothing. A quick call to roadside assistance to cover my **** was made, and they told me it was safe to drive, so I drove home.

This evening, I got a "497 miles until engine restart fail" (or words to that effect) Adblue message. Quick check of the service menu on the trip computer... 14,700 miles range. I had my car serviced a few weeks ago, including an Adblue top up, so capacity isn't the issue.

Any ideas? I rung Mercedes Ipswich who promised me a call back but unsurprisingly they haven't.

Car has now been taken away on a recovery truck

Codes were P13DF and P13E4, which I believe are Adblue system general and component failure codes.

Ahhh, the joys of a modern diesel.

This is the only drawback with Adblue when it goes wrong and it does especially on trucks hense they fit emulators to fool the ecu .

Shame it can be unreliable as it's a much better way of dealing with NOx than the excremental egr .

I like the way your display is quoting for the work in Dollars but I'm not sure what that amount is !

I have exactly the same problem as you on exactly the same car, mine hasn't stopped starting yet as still have 200+ miles on the warring, what did yours turn out to be if you dont mine me asking?

Aahhh, the recovery truck. Mine was no stranger on one, and performed effortlessly whilst being transported...
