W205 Interior Lighting

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience of, or can help me with, the interior lighting that runs down both sides of the gearbox tunnel?

When I open the doors at night all the interior lighting comes on except the hidden lighting that glows alongside the gearbox tunnel.

It used to work and then fade out after the normal 30seconds, but it doesn't anymore.

All of the other lighting that fades out on that circuit, such as the door handles, etc. is still working correctly.

Is there a setting that controls this or is it likely I have a fault on the gearbox tunnel lighting?

Yep, guessing that's the simplest thing.

Was curious if anyone had experienced the same issue.

I've not noticed, haven't driven it for a few days,

Yep just noticed also in mine last night, was the first time I used it I the dark for a week or two and the tunnel illumination has a constant strip running down towards my right knee.
