W208 1999 Comand installation

Good evening
I have been reading posts on here for a while but have now decided to join

I also realise that this subject has been covered lots of times and I have downloaded a lot of info from here with regards this subject , however if you dont mind I would like to ask for some advice

My audio 10 recently gave up and I was given a comand 2.0 by a mate of mine with the intention of installing it myself , however I have decided to take it to a local guy and he has told me that the model I have , A 2108205689 is not compatible with my 1999 CLK W208 k

I know this has been covered and I appreciate the answer may well be already on here but , if possible could someone let me know if it is compatible and perhaps give me instructions to fit it myself , bearing in mind im no techno wizz !!

Ive read a lot of posts on the subject but have read that many model numbers Im not sure if mine is compatible , so thought best to ask on here before I tell the guy , or not ! he is talking rubbish !
