A **** heap
hi me again :S

finally gone and changed the pads on the clk230 all seems fine but the brake pedal seems to be too spongey :S

i did have to undo the bleed nipple on the caliper on both fronts just to get the new pads in as i could not push the cylinder back in!! ( i did have the brake fulid filler cap off at the time i tried to push the cylinders in. And the cap was on when i bled the brakes from the caliper nipple)

any helps great thanks all :)

Well firstly you need yo grow some muscles to push the pistons back on the calipers :)

Then you need to bleed the brakes becaue you have air in them.

Firstly find a mate that can help

Start from the NSR caliper and undo the nipple and push the brake pedal down. leave the pedal down and do up the nipple. Repeat this until no bubbles come out on all 4 calipers. NSR, OSR, NSF then OSF.

oh crap have i changed them in an incorrect way? :S

I to noticed that:D.

Well to be honest as its a closed system i cant see it making much difference.

Pretty certain this would only apply for a new system or a rebuilt system to stop air from unbled sections reaching the already bled systems.
