Dear all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have a 2000 (W-reg) CLK 200K and when I use reverse gear I have to lift the gear stick and put it into the down/left position. However, often when I do this the whole gear lever comes off its spindle and pulls up the veneer fascia with it.
I've tightened up the plastic locking nut that keeps the thing in place, wihout success. Any tips or a quick fix?
thanks
Z
